Measurement Monday 5/6/13...




Monday - off

  • Final Biochem exam and I was tired from running 7 days in a row.

Tuesday- 5 miles - Longleaf - 9:24 pace

  • Evening makeup run with Joanna, Andrea, and Natalie. 

Wednesday- off

  •  Writing final and my legs were tight

Thursday- 4 miles- Ballantrae- 10:05 pace 

  •  Good but humid run with Jen

Friday- 25 mile bike ride

  • Windy

Saturday- 7.5 miles- Starkey- 9:38 pace + weights

  • Good run I felt strong

Sunday- 4 miles- dirt road- 9:10 pace + 25 mile ride

  • Great run, I felt strong and just pushed the pace to see what I could do. My calves were tight and slightly fatigued, I'm in a mission to go sub 27 on a 5k soon.

Thoughts
My mileage was lower than I would like but it was also finals week so I'll take it.

Lessons learned this week

  • You have to run faster to run faster! Yes I know it's obvious but I'm finally learning how to get through being uncomfortable and it's paying off.
