Measurement Monday 4/29/13...

Monday - 5 miles easy + weights
  •  5 miles- dirt road, no stops, 10:13 pace
Tuesday- 5 mile progression run
  •  5 miles- Ballantrae-1 stop for Christina pick up her shirt, 9:50 pace 
Wednesday4 miles + weights
  •  4 miles-dirt road, no stops, 9:55 pace
Thursday- 4 miles at 10k pace
  •  4 miles- Ballantrae, 9:57
Friday- off
  • 3 miles- dirt road, no stops, 9:55 pace
Saturday- 9 miles easy, last 2 at 10k pace
  • 6 miles-Starkey, 9:30 pace
Sunday- 30 mile bike ride
  • 3 miles- dirt road, no stops, 9:51
Totals
Run -  30 miles- the most I have run in a week since before Chicago last October. 


Thoughts
I am so happy with this weeks training: distance, pace, and attitude were on point. I'm totally focused on getting slimmer and faster and this week was proof that I am going in the right direction. 

Lessons learned this week

  • Finals week sucked but running really help me survive the stress.
  • I'm stronger than I give myself credit for and I'm going to try and remember that during my runs.

Weight

I joined a biggest loser weight loss challenge in March and we are now more than half way through. We all paid $25 dollars to join and had our current weight and measurements taken. I am currently in 2nd place which is really great but the grand prize is $600 so I'm going to work hard these last 3 weeks to win.

I'm going to start updating my weight loss progress with my weekly training.
