5 mile run and homemade goodies...

This morning I ran 5 miles on the treadmill and then enjoyed a tasty berry smoothie.

After that James and I decided to do some baking since it was so nasty outside. We started with my favorite almond date bars.

Then we worked on some homemade bagels

But it started out pretty rough when I measured one and two thirds cup water instead of two third cup. But we just added extra dry ingredients to try and remedy the problem. 
We need to work on our dough cutting skills.
And our bagel rolling skills
But our choice of topping was delicious. Garlic Gold, Parmesan, and kosher salt were the basics
The Garlic Gold on the top is my favorite.

This is the recipe we tried to follow.
We also made bread I will add that later.
